At O'Brien's Pharmacy, we believe everyone deserves access to essential medications, regardless of their financial situation.

This program is proudly sponsored by Loan Ngo, owner of O'Brien's Pharmacy.

Our Commitment to Community Care

The O'Brien's Pharmacy Hardship Assistance Program was established to support members of our community who are experiencing financial difficulties and cannot afford essential medications. We understand that managing health conditions can be challenging enough without the burden of medication costs.

Through this program, eligible customers receive access to free medications sponsored by Loan Ngo, ensuring that financial constraints never prevent anyone from receiving the treatment they need. Our mission is to provide compassionate care and support to those who need it most.

Program Eligibility & Conditions

1

Generic Brand Medications

To ensure the sustainability of the program and allow us to support as many patients as possible, medications supplied under this program are provided as generic brands. These medicines are safe, effective, and clinically equivalent to brand-name options.

2

Prescription Retention

As part of program participation and compliance requirements, original prescriptions must be kept at O'Brien's Pharmacy. This allows us to maintain accurate records and ensure appropriate ongoing care.

3

Multiple Medications Requirement

This program is designed to support patients with a higher medication burden. Eligibility requires the patient to be taking more than five prescription medications per day.

4

Concession Card Requirement

To qualify for the hardship assistance program, patients must hold a valid concession card, pension card, or DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs) card.

5

Financial Assessment

Patients are required to participate in a confidential financial eligibility assessment. This conversation helps us better understand individual circumstances and determine suitability for the program in a respectful and supportive manner.
